This week saw the annual Google Marketing Live event take place where all things new in the world of Google Advertising are announced.

The live stream hosted in Silicon Valley provided plenty of food for thought as well as very interesting changes to the whole Google Suite of programs (we won’t mention the cringy jokes!).  There is a clear direction of both simplification as well as using Machine Learning to create more responsive advertising enabling SMEs to better market themselves.  The question is will this work?

Myself and Nick were fortunate enough to attend Big Wave Media‘s live stream of this event and while I could cobble together my thoughts on the updates Ekaterina Vasileva, SEO Executive at Big Wave has kindly compiled an article with the key insight.
