What do you do on your lunch break? Do you even take a break? This survey (in the article below), shows that over half of people don’t take any time away from their desks in their lunch hour. That’s a lot of overtime hours that are being put in, possibly without the recognition. Is this just an expectation of employees now?

It’s interesting to see how employees are influenced by the behaviour of their peers. If your co-workers remain at their desks, perhaps you feel as though you should be doing the same.

Lunch hours are a very useful, much needed part of anybody’s day. Of course it’s not always possible to get away from your desk, but surely a 10 minute walk, or a chance to grab a sarnie from the local shop could work wonders for your productivity in the afternoon?
